XO Marriage is a non-profit organization headquartered in Southlake, TX. Through XO Marriage Conferences, podcasts, online content, and marriage-enriching resources, our mission is to see the marriage rate increase, the divorce rate drop, and a generation of children set up for success.
Summary of Position
XO Marriage is looking for a Content Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be willing to develop a deep understanding of all XO content, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role will collaborate with the Creative, Marketing and Digital Media teams to learn the full scope of our XO Marriage content, and develop a strategic plan to grow our content library.
This individual is highly organized and able to handle themselves well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. They have excellent communication skills and a knowledge of the non-profit and church world. They are confident in themselves and their work but are never afraid to learn something new.
Collaborates with XO departments to learn and understand all XO Marriage content across our platforms (website, social media, podcasts, XO Now, Publishing, etc.)
Responsible for coordinating and curating content for the XO Magazine, blogs, testimonies, and other projects as needed
Manage the XO Content Calendar in Monday.com
Develop a strategic plan to grow our content library to reach current and new audiences
Manage day-to-day updates on current website
Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to execute new website project
Assist with organization of content libraries
Create and send XO Now and XO Podcast emails, and other emails as needed
Coordinate with vendors and contractors and process invoices
In-and-out of state travel required roughly between 8-10 times per year
Assist in other areas as needed
Proficiency in meeting deadlines/timelines
Excellent communication skills including proper phone etiquette
Professional discretion in all event interactions
Positive attitude and approach to problem solving
Calm and comfortable in fast-paced environments
Copywriting/editing skills and design knowledge a plus
Website knowledge a plus
Understanding of and proficiency in MailChimp and other email platforms
Strong computer literacy (Mac OS, Gmail, Word, Excel, Slack, Google Docs, Dropbox, etc.)
College degree(s) and/or experience seen as a plus, but not required
