XO Marriage is a non-profit organization headquartered in Southlake, TX. Through XO Marriage Conferences, podcasts, online content, and marriage-enriching resources, our mission is to see the marriage rate increase, the divorce rate drop, and a generation of children set up for success.
This role is a part of the creative team and reports to the senior producer. Works with the senior producer to plan and create engaging podcast and video content while acting as an administrator and technical director for the content creators of XO Marriage (Jimmy & Karen Evans, Dave & Ashley Willis and more). This individual has a passion for healthy marriages and creating fun and inspiring content to help couples grow in their relationship. They are highly organized and handle themselves well in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. They have excellent communication skills and a knowledge of podcasting and digital media. They are confident in themselves and their work but are never afraid to learn something new.
Manage podcast recording sessions and oversee production of episodes.
Pitch in fresh ideas for podcasts and video content.
Find, schedule and book guests and influencers that will help increase podcast followers.
Provide support to the talent and the production team throughout the production process of podcasts and video courses.
Coordinate and manage video and podcast production process from start to finish.
Help with creative direction, set budgets, write scripts, organize logistics, deadlines, and communicate with the team about studio shoots and off-site productions.
In-and-out of state travel required roughly between 4-6 times per year.
Assists in other areas as required.
General Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in meeting task deadlines/timelines.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
General video editing and audio editing skills. (Adobe Creative Suite)
Professional discretion in all talent interactions.
Positive attitude and approach to problem solving.
Calm and comfortable in fast paced environments.
High organizational skills.
Physically able to handle long shoot days and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Strong computer literacy. (Mac OS, Gmail, Word, Excel, Slack, Google Doc. etc.)
1-2 years experience required
College Degree(s) seen as a plus, but not required.
