Job Description
Summary of Position
The Social Media Coordinator will be a member of the creative team who knows how to tell stories that drive engagement. Their passion for social media will drive them to create compelling content to further enhance the brand story of XO Institute and cultivate our audience across our many platforms. Their creative thinking, knack for design and strategic mindset will lead the team in building thoughtfully crafted digital campaigns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead writing, editing, proofing and posting social media content across different platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Collaborate with creative team to ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages
- Manage development and execution of organic social content calendar unique to each social media platform.
- Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts and interact consistently with followers who comment and DM questions/concerns.
- Monitor and can independently identify social customer service issues and works with customer service to resolve said issues.
- Test, measure and report performance of all social activities, and assess against KPIs/goals.
- Stay up to date on best practices, emerging trends and cultural/news events that may impact audience interaction with our brand.
- Assist with other marketing needs, as applicable.
General Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, or comparable CRM platforms preferred
- Strong computer literacy (Mac OS, Gmail, Word, Excel, Slack, Google Docs, etc.)
- Comfortable running database queries and managing data integrity
- Ability to collaborate across departments and teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to lead or train others as needed
- Ability to manage data or financial figures in multiple formats/languages if necessary
- Believer in Christ whose morals and values align with the mission and vision of XO Marriage
General Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally kneel, or crouch
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
