Job Description

Summary of Position

XO is searching for a creative & innovative Studio Manager. The Studio Manager will be the point person for our state-of-the-art studio, and play a key role in developing our studio staff and volunteers. At XO, we create many different types and styles of content, and the Studio Manager will be the glue that makes sure everything is done with excellence. To succeed in this role, the candidate needs to have a high level of production skill, alongside the ability to lead and develop a team.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare studio for shoots

● Set pieces

● Lighting

● LED Wall and Building Monitor content management

● Equipment (cameras, switcher, etc.)

● Staffing (contractors, staff & interns)

Build production team

● Recruit and maintain relationships with contractors, interns & volunteers

● Train & lead production team

● Manage event & production assignment calendar and make sure each

production & event has the necessary staff

  • Maintain Production Equipment in studio & classroom + storage equipment organization
  • Brainstorm creative set ideas for shoots
  • Manage studio & classroom calendar

General Skills & Qualifications

● Pros if knowledge on BMD + Ross

● LED Wall Experience (minor troubleshooting & maintenance)

● Lighting (studio design emphasis)

● Live Audio Recording/mixing

● Strong Knowledge of ProPresenter

● Studio Set Design

● Ability to lead & develop others

● Project management skills

● Calendar management

● Google Suite Software

● Strong Knowledge of Audio & Video Production Equipment

General Physical Requirements

● Sit/stand for long periods of time

● Occasionally kneel, or crouch

● The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
